1950's H.G. German, Seeds

This shows the extent of their annual trial gardens. From these variety trials they were able to determine the characteristics of all their varieties.
 The company was started in 1949 and sold to a Mr. Grimes in 1984. H.G.  German Seeds had around 2800 to 3000 plants.  Edna Freer was the companies first employee.  At the time of the sale of the business the company had 8 employees and was taking in annual sales of $1 Million dollars.
