1910 Norwich, PA: The Roundhouse

photo credit: Thomas T. Taber III  Collection

"Six locomotives, four loaders, and the combination car huddle around the roundhouse at Norwich. Identification of the locomotives is not positive, but it appears that the one on the left is either  G. L. Co. No. 16 or No. 18, the engine in the center is No. 21, and the engine at the right is probably G. L. Co. No. 19, renumbered 6 on the Potato Creek. Except for minor repair work, the locomotives did not enter the three stall roundhouse. In the back of this building was the major repair shop were the cars, loaders, and locomotives recieved most of their overhauls."
