The first regular services of St. Gabriel's Catholic Church in 1875, was performed by Father Paterson, the church society being organized the following year. The Church building was erected in 1880 at a cost of over three thousand dollars. A new pipe organ has been installed, with the aid of Andrew Carnegie, which adds much to the services of the church. Rev. Father Wm. Becker is its present(1904) pastor.

The Current 2009 minister is Rev. John J. Murphy.
