No town is complete these days without a first class garage. Port Allegany is very fortunate in that respect having a first class garage, which is unequaled in this section of the country. This lately erected building is located on Mill Street across from the Sartwell Hotel and is managed by L.E. Scherer. Mr. Scherer has at the present time the agency for the well known "Ford" car and the "Mitchell" car. Mr. Scherer can furnish these cares in runabouts, touring or truck style- four or six cylinder. the garage which is a fine brick building was just recently erected and has 5000 swuare feet of floor space having a front and rear entrance. Mr. Scherer carries an excellent line of the latest and best tires, tubes, Prest-o-lite tanks, gasoline, greases and supplies of all kinds. He is a skilled mechanic and does all kinds of automobile and bicycle repairing and vulcanizing. Mr. Scherer does not limit his work to auto repairng but runs a first class auto delivery at the lowest possible rates. The Keystone garage is equipped with both phones and is open day and night. At all times you will find a skilled chauffeur in charge and auto delivery can be secured on short notices.
