This is a very advanced type of open plan reflecting the educational philosophy of IPI. The major classroom area is generally without partitions except for necessary supports and toilets, supplemented with movable drapes, chalkboards, bookcases, and the like. Spaces can be created for variously sized groups in minutes without tools. Large planting strips under continuous barrel arch skylites provide a pleasant component of natural forms. This facility provides a warm non-institutional environment for children and staff. It is hoped that the quality of the educational achievements will be enhanced herein.
