The Old Fire Department

After the new building on Nelson Street was constructed, the old building was no longer in use. Later in the years, the borough tore the building down and then became a parking lot for the Cottage House Restaurant (which is across the street) and Hamlin Bank employees. The old building was abandoned after the new building was constructed and put into use. By the time the new building was in use, the old one was pretty much destroyed. The windows were destroyed, and the wood began to rot away.As the old fire department is gone but never will be forgotten.
