7)  After the logger falls the tree he utilizes as much of it as he can.This is done by measuring out certain length logs from the tree.
At the begining of the fallen tree,the bigger logs are measured out.These logs range from an eight foot log to a thirty-nine foot log.

8)  At the top of the tree is were the logger will measure out his pulpwood,which usually measures out to be twenty-two feet in lenght.
The logs will be sent to a sawmill to be sawed into lumber and the pulpwood will be sent into a chipping mill to be chipped.

9)  After the trees have been fallen and the logs are measured out it's time to skid them out to the landing.
