10)  The landing is usually located at the nearest logging road.This is where the logs are cut and stacked for hauling.

11)  At the landing  the first pile the skidder operator will come to is his pulpwood pile this is where he cut's his pulpwood off.

12)  Then he will pull the skidder ahead to the log pile and cut the logs to length.
