Return To 1895
After many years of different owners, finally in the year 2000, Mrs. Anne D. Potter purchased the Partchey Mansion. It was in the worst shape it had been in, ever. After 4 years of hard work and perseverance the house had been renovated to a state that consisted of a more original look and feel with modern applications, where needed. It was dubbed the Lavender House and stands with 3 Victorian apartments in it.
This establishment on Green Street over looks the valley of Smethport and seems eye level with surrounding hills. This house has been elegantly sitting on it's foundation since 1895 and now it will remain thanks to the Smethport resident, Mrs. Anne D. Potter.
