A 1960 project, this Virgin Island beach house
was to be built with concrete dendriform callas, providing permanent shelter,
water storage, and naturally cool rooms. It is an organic recognition of living
patterns in a tropical setting. Open plan spaces
modulated by structural flasks of concrete were included in this plan, along
with operable screened exterior walls.
