Clifford Lundgren Mr. Lundgren is the son of one of the oldest Chevrolet dealers in the United States. He has 35 diplomas from the Chevrolet factory for training and received in servicing Chevrolets. He worked as a mechanic prior to entering the armed forces and after his discharge in 1915 was associated with his father and brother in the Chevrolet garage at Akeley, Pa. He is a certified Chevrolet factory trained service manager for trucks and cars, including the new Corvair. |

Opening Friday-Saturday McKean County Democrat March 10, 1960 The formal opening of Lundgren Chevrolet, an old-established business under new ownership, will be observed on Friday and Saturday. The former Thomas Chevrolet garage on E. Main St., Smethport, was purchased recently by Clifford Lundgren of Akeley from the estate of the late Roy O. Thomas. During the grand opening, door prizes will be awarded. Coffee and rolls will be served to adults and there will be fruit punch for the children. Mr. Lundgren is the son of one of the oldest Chevrolet dealers in the United States and has had many years experience as a mechanic. He was working as an automobile and truck mechanic prior to his enlistment in World War II. After his honorable discharge from the armed forces in 1946, he became associated with his father and brother in the Chevrolet Garage at Akeley, near Warren. Mr. Lundgren has documentary evidence of his extensive mechanical training. He has 35 diplomas issued by the Chevrolet factory for completion of special courses in servicing Chevrolets.
